A green campus can create minds of green-leaning students who can streamline operations so that their campuses can become part of the solution. The green initiatives that are emerging here at DFS are models for the larger society, and the students pushing for them will be taking these lessons with them, too, as they enter the work force after graduation Free workshops are conducted at local schools on topics related to environment protection. Canopies are put up at local Sunday markets to educate the community.

Panchayat leaders are informed about the environment friendly activities and presentations are made to the panchayat community.
